It's a match made in heaven. And gossip heaven.
Page Six was the first media entity to announce that Seattle Seahawks quarterback and recently divorced Russell Wilson and Summer and Winter Olympian Lolo Jones spent time together at the ESPYs last week, as well as a couple of post-ESPYs functions, sparking rumors of a budding romance.

Jones tweeted a photo of herself and Jones at the awards show.

Page Six added that "Spies saw the Seattle Seahawks QB leave the ESPN Body Issue party Tuesday with Jones, and they were still together later at an ESPYs after-party hosted by Drake Wednesday."

Sources told Page Six, "(Russell) and Lolo were talking all night with their faces 'this' close." The "spies" reported that the two also were together at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, but they parted ways at the door, "no kiss." It was not reported whose door it was that the couple said good night.
Jones posted another message on her Twitter account that suggests that she may be working toward starting a romance.

Wilson is a devout Christian who shockingly announced his divorce from his wife, Ashton Meem, through the Seahawks official website. He asked his fans for "prayers, understanding, and privacy," and said he'd have no further comment, according to SeattleWeekly.com.
Jones is known almost as much for her public announcement that she is a virgin as she is for being a hard-luck Olympic hurdler who had a gold medal won in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2008 Summer Olympics until she clipped the second-to-last hurdle that slowed her to a seventh-place finish.
She competed again in the 2012 Summer Olympics but missed out on a medal by one-tenth of a second. She then competed as a push-athlete in the women's bobsled in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi in February but finished in 11th place.
If the relationship does heat up between the two, it'll be interesting to see whose persona is the dominant one - the understated and unassuming Russell or the outspoken and social media-must follow Jones.
