Kevin Love Trade Rumors: Cavs, Bulls Both Pushing For Timberwolves All-Star [VIDEO]

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls are both in the mix for Kevin Love as the Minnesota Timberwolves mull a potential trade of their franchise All-Star.

LeBron James' Business Partner Says He Wasn't Pushed To Cleveland

ESPN reports that the Cavaliers are confident that they can offer the Timberwolves a deal that the team will accept in order to send Love over to Cleveland and pair him up with newly reacquired LeBron James.

According to the report, the Cavs are ready to offer 2014 No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, 2013's top pick Anthony Bennett and a future first-round selection for Love while the Bulls are hoping to make a late push to get into the trade hunt.

The Boston Celtics were rumored to be interested in Love at first but the speculation has died down for them while the Golden State Warriors came close to landing the power forward and continuously were engaged in trade talks, but their unwillingness to throw in Klay Thompson has been a deal-breaker up to this point.

The Bulls put their pursuit of Love on hold to try and wrestle Carmelo Anthony away from the Knicks, but after Anthony decided to re-sign with New York, the Bulls are once again in contention for Love. Chicago is reportedly looking to offer forward Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler in addition to other pieces to Minnesota in a potential deal.

If the Cavaliers do decide to trade Wiggins, they'll have to wait until 30 days after he signs his contract with Cleveland per league rules.

Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has been adamant that the team doesn't want to part ways with Love, but the three-time All-Star has publicly stated that he will not remain in Minnesota when his contract expires next summer, which could lead to the T-Wolves dealing him rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.

The Timberwolves haven't made the playoffs in a decade and in all six seasons that Love has been on the roster, and Love insisted he is tired of losing and would like a change of scenery.

Love is also reportedly very enamored with the idea of playing alongside James in the NBA after the two won a gold medal together as part of Team USA in the 2012 London Olympics.

Minnesota has yet to pull the trigger on a deal that would send Love out of town, but it seems as though Cleveland is poised to strike a deal with the franchise sometime soon.
