Golovkin will enter the ring with the highest knockout rate (89 percent) of any current champion in the sport of boxing, and is the heavy favorite to emerge a winner. At the same time though, Golovkin has acknowledged that Geale will be his toughest opponent to date.

"I know he's a very tough fighter. He has the name because he is an ex-champion and he had two belts," Golovkin told Sportsworldnews.com. He also said that he expects Geale to be at the top of his game.

"I know Daniel is motivated for this fight," Golovkin said. "I think this will be an interesting fight and I hope Daniel won't be jumping around the ring. I hope it will be a fight. I don't think it will be like Daniel Geale's last fight when he didn't seem as serious."

As for Geale, he is loving the fact that very few people believe he can upset the knockout artist.

"I don't wanna say too much but I'm definitely confident in my power, it's improved. In the last 6-12 months I've definitely made a lot of improvements," Geale told SportsWorldNews.com when asked if boxing observers were underestimating his ability to hurt Golovkin.

Despite those improvements, Geale said his first priority will be not allowing Golovkin to land his vaunted power shots.

"The main thing for me is that I won't be easily hit. The guy has a lot of power, and good timing and footwork and a good jab, but I won't be giving him an easy target. If you're going to lean on the ropes you're going to get hit, there's no two ways about it," Geale said.

"If he does land something or if he is coming forth with lots of punches it's about making sure he doesn't land too often and make sure there's something coming back at him."
