The "San Antonio Raiders" wouldn't immediately have the same ring as the San Antonio Spurs. But the colors schemes would be the same.

According to MySanAntonio.com, Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis and his top two lieutenants recently met with San Antonio officials about a possible relocation for the Bay Area team to the Alamo City and the Alamodome.
The Raiders' lease with O.co Coliseum expires after the 2014 season CBSSports.com reports. Davis wants to keep the team in Oakland but also wants a new stadium.
He was hoping to tear down the O.co Coliseum and build a 50,000-seat stadium on the same site, but those plans hit a big snag when the city of Oakland agreed on a 10-year lease of the O.co Coliseum with the Oakland Athletics.

According to CBSSports.com, Davis believes that the long lease makes it impossible for his team to build a new stadium.
Davis and his party met with San Antonio officials on July 18. San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley released a memo concerning the meeting.
"I was asked to meet two weeks ago with the owner of the Oakland Raiders, Mark Davis, and members of his staff. Mr. Davis has expressed interest in a possible relocation of his NFL team to San Antonio and we are engaged in preliminary due diligence," she wrote. "The agenda for this visit included a tour of the Alamodome and meetings with local business leaders."
By MySanAntonio.com also reported, however, that former San Antonio Mayor Henry Cisneros, who was instrumental in building the Alamodome, initiated the invitation for Davis to visit San Antonio.
Cisneros' son-in-law, Brad Badger, works for the Raiders.
Cisneros told MySanAntonio.com that Davis was coming to San Antonio anyway, (the Raiders website reported that Davis was there to see longtime Raider Cliff Branch inducted into a local Hall of Fame), and that he just wanted to present the Raiders with options.
"So we spent the weekend and took advantage of the opportunity to show him San Antonio in the event if it ever became necessary to consider a site other than Oakland," Cisneros said. "We know they have lease issues with Alameda County, so it was a good opportunity to show him facilities in San Antonio as well as have him meet key leaders in San Antonio."
MySanAntonio.com reported that the Alamodome would be a temporary fix at best.
Any relocation would require 75 percent of the league's 32 owners to approve the move.
"We don't have any information about (Davis' meeting in San Antonio), so there is no reason for us to comment," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Tuesday. "We have received no applications from any of our teams to relocate at this point, so there is nothing for us to respond to."
Portland also has been mentioned as a possible destination for the Raiders.
