Manchester United Transfer News: Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez 'Happy' To Hear About Interest From Inter Milan, Will Leave This Summer?

Still struggling to feature in Manchester United's first-choice XI, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez acknowledged interest from Italian outfit Inter Milan and the elation it has brought him. The Mexican international, however, refused to speculate on his future, claiming it would be disrespectful to mention another club while still being employed by United.

"I know of Inter's interest. I'm happy for this reason," Hernandez told Corriere dello Sport during the Red Devils' preseason tour in the United States (via Goal). "There are many clubs that want me, but at the moment I am a Manchester United player and it isn't respectful to talk about other teams."

"I don't know my future," he added. "We will see after the USA tournament."

At 26, Hernandez's services have been highly sought after, but hard to obtain. In prior years, any hints of a possible exit from Old Trafford were quickly distinguished by his agent, Eduardo Hernandez.

"He is very happy at Manchester United," Hernandez said in 2013 after his client featured in less matches than Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck (via Fox News Latino). "Javier has been there three years and has won the league twice. Not many can say they have achieved that."

Fast forward one year. That tune has seemingly regressed, and with the Premier League campaign less than a month away, both United and Hernandez must come to an agreement. Neither can afford to his his talents dwindle away on the bench for another season.
