After a day of furious wheeling and dealing, the dust has settled and many moves have been made. Tonight the New York Yankees (55-52) will head to Boston to take on the new-look Red Sox (48-60), who depleted their pitching rotation yesterday but added some promising boppers. Watch the game on MLB Network or live stream it by clicking this link. The Yankees radio broadcast can be found on 101.9 WFAN, while the Red Sox's can be listened to on 93.7 WEEI. Chris Capuano (1-1, 4.30 ERA) will go for the Bronx Bombers against Anthony Ranaudo (0-0, 0.00 ERA).

Gone are Jon Lester and John Lackey from the Red Sox roster, but that isn't any relief for Yankees pitching. They'll have to deal with Yoenis Cespedes, acquired from Oakland for Lester, and Allen Craig, obtained from the Cardinals for Lackey.

The Yankees made some smaller moves too, shipping out Kelly Johnson and a minor league catcher and getting Stephen Drew from the Sox, and Martin Prado from the Diamondbacks. In an interesting wrinkle, Boston also had Capuano this year before he was let go and picked up by the Yanks.

"It was a tough last month (with Boston), but really it was a tough last week. I grew up in New England, I grew up in Springfield, Mass., where it's pretty much a 50-50 Yankees-Red Sox split," Capuano told MLB's official website. "To have the opportunity to play for both teams in one year I think is unique and pretty special, and more than anything, I'm just excited to be back in the big leagues and starting."

Both sides are looking different these days, and the best rivalry in the sport may be lacking this weekend because of the Red Sox's distance from contention, but their lineup this year and next will not be fun for opposing hurlers.
