Indianapolis Colts Rumors: Chris Rainey Uses Twitter Rant to Bash Colts Days After Being Released [VIDEO]

Former Indianapolis Colts running back Chris Rainey was reportedly cut from his team last week for violating team rules.

Rainey took to Twitter during the Colts game against the Jets on Thursday and took the opportunity to fire some shots at the team.

Rainey posted several tweets to his Twitter page, sounding off on the situation with Indianapolis. He took the opportunity to set the record straight and said he didn't violate any team rules.

"Yea I'm piss watching the colts game when I should be out there, too. Even tho i didn't break no f----- team rules, not even," Rainey tweeted.

Rainey returned after Colts running back Daniel "Boom" Herron scored a touchdown. Rainey suggested that Herron should have shared his fate with the team seeing how he was involved in the incident.

"Nice TD Boom even tho u was in the hallway with me that nite when we was horsing around with the fire extinguisher. Man up like I did," Rainey tweeted.

Rainey deleted the tweets soon after posting them, but many had already taken pictures of the posts before they were taken down. Details of the incident that ended with Rainey being cut are still cloudy and his release comes close to a year after he was arrested and charged with a count of simple battery in January 2013.

Rainey is entering his third year in the NFL and has been used mostly as a kick and punt returner for the Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.
