For the past few months, the WWE has continued to make budget cuts in order to slash some of its costs, and more news has surfaced about veteran employee and time keeper Mark Yeaton's recent release and how it came about.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview And Rumors

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Yeaton was released because he is a "Kevin Dunn guy" and with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon receiving more power backstage, Dunn, who is an executive director, will start to see more and more of his guys get churned out.

Yeaton is due to receive some sort of severance package after 30 years with the company, but it has been noted that after his departure many people backstage were shocked and believed that no one was safe when it comes to budget cuts.

Update On Alberto Del Rio's Release

The report indicates that sources believe the WWE isn't done making its budget cuts and there will be more cost-cutting measures coming, especially in December when the organization will make openly-planned cuts.

While not every financial move has to do with talent or the crew or any other thing that the fans will notice, reports indicate that the budget trimming is ongoing.

The WWE has taken many steps in cutting costs recently, including scaling back on pyrotechnics, catering, traveling, the ring crew and other things, which includes the releases some of their talents. There have been talks that in 2015 the company will combine the RAW and SmackDown tapings again into the Supershow format where they film both in one night.

The company recently dismissed a lot of its creative workers and even halted production on the WWE Magazine amid the cuts.

Earlier this summer, the WWE released 10 Superstars, a writer, a referee and an announcer, and they followed it up by releasing Ricardo Rodriguez and NXT Superstars Dani Jackson, Sam "Travis Tyler" Udell, Shaun "Slate Randall" Ricker, Jody "Garrett Dylan" Kristofferson and William "Mac Miles" McNamee amid the ongoing budget cuts.

The WWE is slashing costs due to taking financial hits from the lagging WWE Network subscribers count, the company's stock taking a hit and a lackluster television deal with NBC Universal. It appears as though the budgetary moves will continue to happen as the WWE looks to trim its budget in the coming months.
