SummerSlam 2014 Matches: Stephanie McMahon Discusses Facing Brie Bella At PPV And More [VIDEO]

Stephanie McMahon appeared with Michael Cole this week for a sit-down interview which furthered the storyline build up to SummerSlam Sunday night at the Staples Center, where she will take on Brie Bella.

Rey Mysterio Possibly Leaving The WWE For Mexico

McMahon, who touted the WWE Network going global, was asked about the revelation on Monday Night RAW that Daniel Bryan cheated on Bella in storyline, and whether the woman - Megan Miller - was being truthful.

"The legitimacy is up to the authorities to decide," McMahon said. "Megan Miller came forward. She had a very compelling story...What's so challenging sometimes about being a principle owner is that you really have to do what's in the best interest of your employees. This woman came forward with this story and I thought... Brie Bella needed to know. She needed to know what kind of a man her husband really is."

McMahon also told Cole she did it publicly because it was the only way she could defeat Bella, and Cole asked her if she is afraid of losing to Bella Sunday night.

"Brie Bella is like a stick, she's like a twig. I could throw her around this ring," McMahon said. "...I'm not embarrassed. What embarrasses me is that I have to lower myself to even get in the ring with Brie Bella. That's what's embarrassing to me. No question I'm going to beat her at SummerSlam. Whether I've been out of the ring for 10 years, 11 years, it doesn't matter. I'm at the top of my game no matter what I do. Brie Bella is gonna be sorry she ever challenged me."

Cole asked what would happen if Bella puts McMahon in the Yes Lock and she taps out.

"I don't waste my energy on thoughts that are never gonna happen," she said. "I don't spin my wheels, I have way too much to focus on...I'm not gonna waste my time thinking about some fictional story that's never going to happen."

Lastly, McMahon was asked if her determination to defeat Bella has anything to do with Bryan defeating her husband Triple H at the grandest stage ever in the WWE, WrestleMania XXX.

"[Daniel Bryan] is injured," she said. "Since right after WrestleMania. My husband can beat Daniel Bryan any day of the week. He didn't [at WrestleMania], but where is he now? At the end of the day The Authority always wins."

She added: "I have nothing to prove in the ring against Brie Bella. She put me in a situation where I had to accept this match. I didn't want to have to beat Brie Bella, I don't wanna have to embarrass Brie Bella at SummerSlam, but that's exactly what I'm going to do this Sunday."
