Giants quarterback Eli Manning hasn't done much this preseason, but this week may be when the two-time Super Bowl MVP gets extended play as he learns new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's system. Luckily for the Giants, the running game has looked good behind an offensive line that many expect to struggle.

Last week Rashad Jennings found the end zone and rushed for 85 yards on five carries. Rookie Andre Williams picked up 35 yards on seven carries and Kendall Gaskins averaged 4.6 yards per rush.

Jennings starred though thanks to a 73-yard run that he talked about after the game. "It feels good to get out there and jell with the offense," Jennings said. "Find a big hole like that and make a big play."

Manning was happy to see the ground attack be effective. "I thought the running game was good," Manning said. "Whenever you have a running back break a long one, that's a great thing to have to be able to hit that big play. I feel confident in the offense, feel confident in our ability."

The Colts running game was the polar opposite in a Week 1 defeat against the Jets, with Trent Richardson picking up where he left off in 2013-averaging less than three yards per carry in a Colts jersey. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was effective in his time on the field though, going 10-of-15 for 114 yards and a touchdown.
