The final game in the Little League World Series on Monday is the American matchup of Illinois and Rhode Island.
Illinois showed promise after several huge wins in the early goings, but hit a bump in the road by getting crushed by Nevada 13-2. Rhode Island comes in with the advantage of already holding off elimination once and getting an extra days rest.
Illinois has the talent to top Rhode Island’s questionable pitching and Pierce Jones has shown he has an eye for the big stage. The winner of this game will keep their Little League World Series dreams alive and will play the winner of the Texas and Washington game earlier in the day.
