Carter issued a statement about the future of Impact after it was originally revealed that Spike was planning to stop carrying the company's flagship program in October.

"IMPACT WRESTLING will remain a vital part of Spike TV's programming on Wednesday nights, 9/8c, through the end of the year," Carter said in a statement. "Negotiations remain ongoing beyond this time frame."

Carter and the network have been negotiating for a few weeks now in hopes to reach a deal to keep Impact Wrestling on Spike TV in a deal that works for both sides. Carter also hyped up Impact's move to Wednesday nights in the press release that was sent out before Wednesday's show.

"Tonight marks IMPACT WRESTLING's official move to Wednesday nights," Carter said. "Tune in at 9/8c for the most anticipated night of hardcore wrestling on television. One of TNA's most popular annual Pay-Per-Views "Hardcore Justice," will be featured tonight, free on Spike TV."

There were reports that TNA Superstar Bully Ray was leaving the company, and updates have come in about what he said at a TNA live event on Sunday night.

Bully Ray told TNA's crew at Sunday night's event that he wasn't officially gone but he was saying goodbye because he believed he was on his way out. Based on how he was talking, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that people believe that he will never be back with TNA once he departs.

Bully Ray and his Team 3D tag partner Devon are both being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in Tokyo on Bound For Glory weekend.

Bully Ray's deal was set to expire and the two sides negotiated, but weren't able to come to terms on a new deal, similar to the way A.J. Styles' negotiations with the company went before he left.

While there is good news for TNA in regards to Spike TV, Bully Ray's departure may lead to a chain of wrestlers leaving as more contract expirations are reportedly looming.
