F4WOnline.com has confirmed that TNA received an offer from Discovery Channel's VELOCITY Network which is available only in high definition and is accessible in only about 48 million homes.

According to the report, TNA moving to VELOCITY is described as a "worst-case scenario" for the company due to the fact that the company will not get the exposure it would like from the network and the rights fee that VELOCITY would pay TNA for Impact is less than a quarter of what they currently get from Spike TV.

It was rumored that Spike TV was planning on dropping Impact in October when the contract between the two expires as the network is looking to get out of the pro wrestling business entirely. It was then revealed that TNA and Spike TV would continue their partnership through the end of 2014 with both sides mutually working toward finding a new home for Impact.

Spike has kept Impact on through the rest of 2014 and moved it from Thursday nights to Wednesday nights, which is likely where TNA will stay when it lands a new network due to the WWE moving SmackDown back to Thursday nights this fall.

TNA is reportedly not re-signing any of its upper-tier talents until they ink a new television deal and the changes have been made already as Bully Ray left the company this week after his contract expired and he gave the impression that he won't be back.

It is unlikely that TNA will take the deal with VELOCITY, but the company was described as relieved that they at least have an offer and are hopeful it will lead to more offers coming in.

If the company takes the deal with VELOCITY, TNA would have to cut so far back on production and talent and the company would have to undergo way too many changes to make it worth it.

An offer is on the table for Impact, but TNA hasn't quite found a new home just yet.
