Deontay Wilder Next Fight: Bryant Jennings Picks Against 'Bronze Bomber,' Says Wilder's Resume is 'Questionable' [VIDEO]

Deontay Wilder scored the 32nd consecutive knockout victory of his career on August 16 against Jason Gavern at the Stubhub Center in California, but heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings was apparently not impressed.

Despite all of Wilder's 32 wins coming by way of knockout, Jennings picked WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne to defeat Wilder when they meet in the ring, citing a shaky track record for the challenger.

Wilder believes title shot vs. Stiverne will happen in November

"I think I'm leaning more toward Stiverne, for the simple fact that he is the better technical fighter and he does have power as well. Deontay just has a lot of questions, he's very questionable," Jennings said.

"I can't pinpoint anything really good on him besides power, because we haven't seen anything."

Jennings defeated Mike Perez in an eliminator bout on July 26 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and is the No. 1 contender to face the winner of Wilder vs. Stiverne. There's no date set for that clash however, and Jennings seemed to take a swipe at Wilder's matchmaking when asked about remaining active while he waits for his shot.

Stiverne trainer calls Deontay Wilder a "clown"

"I'm not looking for an easy fight just to stay active, but as long as it doesn't tamper with my position in being the mandatory of course I would want something to stay busy" Jennings said. The first part of that quote could be seen as a shot at Wilder, whose matchup and performance vs. Gavern was roundly criticized.

"If it takes away from me still being in that mandatory position, then I'll do what I have to do and be patient and wait."
