Jon Jones News: Daniel Cormier Continues Training for UFC 182 While 'Bones' Recovers From Knee Injury [PHOTO]

While UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is currently recovering from knee surgery, his opponent at UFC 182 Daniel Cormier is staying busy with a grueling training regimen.

It's long been documented that Cormier's training sessions at American Kickboxing Academy are possibly harder than his actual fights. After all, his main training partner is "the baddest man on the planet," UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez. The two of them constantly push each other in every facet, giving true definition to the phrase "iron sharpens iron."

Cormier has continued training for the Jan. 3 bout and he recently posted photos on his Instagram of himself covered in blood and a pair of bloody boxing gloves with the caption "How else do you train for a fight? You fight."

Meanwhile, things are a little less serious in Jones' world. After suffering a torn meniscus and sprained ankle that forced him out of the originally scheduled September fight, Jones is taking a more lighthearted approach to his recovery.

Cormier also made headlines earlier this week when a fan asked what's next for him after he beats Jones, former number-one contender Alexander Gustafsson or fast-rising contender Anthony Johnson. Though it's far from a guarantee that Cormier would beat Jones, the ever-confident former Olympic wrestler said he'd grant Jones an immediate rematch.

That's a big statement for Cormier to say that if he wins the title he'd be willing to fight Jones not once, but twice. And the UFC would likely be more than willing to do an immediate rematch, as they have for many fighters in the past and will be doing for this Saturday's UFC 177 main event between bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and ex-champ Renan Barao.
