Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns take the field at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland for preseason Week 4 action. The game can be live streamed here. Chicago fans can hear all of the action on WGN 720 while Cleveland fans can do the same on WMMS 100.7
Chicago enters play with a 2-1 preseason record while Cleveland is still searching for its first pre-season victory, entering tonight with an 0-3 mark. With this being the final preseason game, it is likely that most starters will rest for both sides.
Jay Cutler returns under center for the Bears in 2014 after going 224-for-355 (63.1 percent) in 2013 for 2,621 yards with 19 touchdowns and 12 picks.
One of Cutler's favorite targets last season was Alshon Jeffrey, who netted 89 catches for 1,427 yards with seven touchdowns. Jeffrey teams up with Brandon Marshall and the newly imported Santonio Holmes to form one of the most potent receiving corps in the league.
Matt Forte led the ground game last season for Chicago, rushing for 1,339 yards on 289 carries and finding the end zone nine times.
Brian Hoyer was awarded the starting job at signal caller for the Browns as rookie Johnny Manziel will play behind him and try to learn from him in his first season in the NFL. Hoyer appeared in just three games last season and went 57-for-96 (59.4%) for 615 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions.
Hoyer and the Browns enter the 2014 campaign with a lot of optimism.
"If we just sucked, then I think we'd be down on ourselves," Hoyer told USA Today. "I think we realize what we can be."
The Browns are hopeful that Ben Tate will step up for them at running back and reinvigorate a ground game that struggled last season.
The Bears and Browns close out their preseasons when they take the field tonight at FirstEnergy Center in Cleveland.
