Adrien Broner Next Fight: Lucas Matthysse Called Out By 'The Problem' After Knocking Down Emmanuel Taylor [VIDEO]

Adrien "The Problem" Broner fought for the second time in 2014 against Emmanuel Taylor on Saturday night in front of a home town crowd in Cincinnati, Ohio, leaving with his second victory of the year.

Broner scored a unanimous decision victory over Taylor, and showed better power when he scored a Round 12 knockdown on an uppercut. The real news came during his postfight interview with Showtime's Jim Gray, however, when he challenged Lucas "La Machina" Matthysse to be his next opponent.

"Listen, like I said before, I didn't 'kind of' call out nobody. I said, my next fight should be Matthysse. And he can get it," Broner said of Matthysse, who was the co-feature on Saturday night's card.

Matthysse handed Roberto Ortiz the first loss of his career after hitting him with a body shot that knocked him down in Round 2. The fight ended controversially, with referee Benjy Esteves Jr. showing a quick trigger on Ortiz who appeared to have stood up before Esteves finished his 10-count.

The quick knockout, which was the 34th of Matthysse's career, didn't seem to intimidate Broner though. "If I could, I'd fight Matthysse with this cut tonight," Broner said.

When Gray joked that Matthysse had had a short enough fight to come back out and fight, Broner responded "Man, I'd beat his a**, too."

Matthysse though didn't seem as interested in facing Broner. Matthysse spent his time with Gray bringing up WBC and WBA light welterweight champion Danny Garcia, whom he lost two in September 2013.

Through an interpreter Matthysse challenged Garcia to "stop being a chicken and fighting little boxers," referencing Garcia's recent win over Rod Salka, who came up from lightweight to take the fight.

Garcia has since responded, accusing Matthysse on Twitter of simply wanting a payday. "I beat his [expletive] so bad the first time, he wanted to retire! He don't care about winning; he wants the money."
