The Philadelphia Eagles entered the Chip Kelly era without a decisive starting quarterback, according to The Associated Press. Michael Vick, Nick Foles and Dennis Dixon each took reps with the starting unit when the Philadelphia Eagles took the field for the first time since hiring Kelly as the head coach.
"There wasn't one set guy that just went with the ones the entire day," Kelly told AP. "All those guys got an opportunity to roll through.
Michael Vick has the most experience with 102 starts in 12 seasons. The former No.1 overall pick has 20,274 passing yards and 123 touchdowns. The dual-threat also has 5,551 rushing yards and 34 touchdowns.
Nick Foles has started six times in seven career games. In limited action, Foles has 1,699 yards and six touchdowns.
Dennis Dixon has seen even less action with three starts in four career games during a five year career. However, Dixon has the most experience in Chip Kelly's offense as the starting quarterback for the Oregon Ducks while Kelly was the team's offensive coordinator.
