Boston Games Postponed: Red Sox, Bruins Put Friday's Games On Hold During Marathon Bomber Manhunt

The Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins have canceled their morning skates Friday due to the manhunt for a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. The Penguins-Bruins game and Friday night's matchup between the Kansas City Royals and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park are both currently postponed until further notice, according to ESPN.

Bruins spokesman Matt Chmura told ESPN the team has no announcement yet on whether it will proceed with Friday night's NHL game at TD Garden. Red Sox spokesman Kevin Gregg said the Royals have been in town since Wednesday night and spent their off day in the city on Thursday.

The bombings on Monday killed three people and wounded more than 180. Police have identified two suspects: Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev. The first was killed during a shootout with police on Friday and the second one was being sought during a manhunt in Watertown, MA.

The New England Patriots have also postponed their news conference with director of player personnel Nick Caserio about next week's NFL draft for the second time.
