Night of Champions 2014 Rumors: Chris Jericho Possibly Staying For Monday's RAW, Another Match May Get Added To Card [VIDEO]

It has been widely expected that Chris Jericho will wrap up his stint with the WWE Sunday night at Night of Champions after his match with Randy Orton, but he may appear on RAW this week to close out his schedule while another match could be added to the card at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Spoilers For Final SmackDown Before Night Of Champions

It was noted earlier this summer when the schedules for Jericho's band Fozzy and his WWE appearances were released that the Sept. 22 episode of Monday Night RAW would mark his last date with the company on his current run.

This episode airs the night following the Night of Champions event and while it could mean that Jericho will be in attendance, it has still been presumed that Jericho's run in the WWE will come to an end on Sunday night and that he won't appear on Monday's edition of the company's flagship show.

Backstage News On John Cena And Rusev Possibly Feuding

It is still possible that Jericho will finish up his run on Monday Night RAW, but Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that he is not being advertised by the WWE for this Monday's show, which airs at the FedEx Forum in Memphis.

Jericho has spent most of his current stint in the WWE feuding with Bray Wyatt, but after two pay-per-view matches and a Steel Cage Match on the Sept. 8 "season premiere" edition of RAW, Jericho now has his sights set on Orton and the two will battle at Night of Champions.

Jericho has noted in the past on his Talk is Jericho podcast that he really enjoys working with Orton, so it is expected that the two will put on a Match of the Night contender Sunday in order for Jericho to go out with a bang.

Jericho is also slated to appear on the kick off show as a guest on the returning Christian's Peep Show talk segment.

The kick off show for Night of Champions will be an hour-long affair this month and the WWE has advertised that there will also be a match aside from the segment.

While the details of the match have yet to be revealed, it is possible that it could be Bo Dallas vs. Jack Swagger since they have been feuding, but that is merely speculation.
