As seen on WWE television lately, the WWE has had a "frenemies" relationship between WWE Divas Champion Paige and former title holder AJ Lee and it appears as though the WWE is deliberately adding to the sexual tension between the two.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the ongoing storyline between Lee and Paige has been made in order to raise the heat between the two to possibly interest there viewers more.
According to the report, there was a creative decision last weekend that indicated that the company wants to go further with the angle. It remains to be seen what the company has planned between the two, but nothing crazy has happened yet on this week's tapings.

The WWE has used the Lee vs. Paige storyline and some more adult language to add more risque angles to the company in order to create buzz around the product -- especially with Monday Night RAW once again receiving high competition from the NFL's Monday Night Football.
WWE has plenty of sponsors that hinge on it being a PG product, so while the storylines have spiked toward the TV-14 era again, the company will not be fully going back to the Attitude-era style it once had.
There may be some more risque angles and use of adult language, but it is doubtful the WWE will ever go back to what it was at the height of its popularity during the Monday Night Wars.
Paige, AJ Lee and Nikki Bella will battle in a Divas Championship Triple Threat Match Sunday night at Night of Champions at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and its possible the storyline kicks in at the show.
