Today at 4:25 p.m. ET, the Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) and Miami Dolphins (1-1) take the field at Sun Life Stadium in Miami for Week 3 NFL action. The game can be live streamed here. Kansas City fans can hear all of the action on 101 FOX while Miami fans can do the same on 560 WQAM.
Kansas City is coming off of a 24-17 loss at the hands of the Denver Broncos in Week 2 and is searching for its first win while Miami lost 29-10 to the Buffalo Bills last week.
Running back Jamaal Charles (ankle) may be out for the Chiefs, meaning that second-year back Knile Davis may once again have a heavy workload after filling in for Charles in Week 2.
"When I go in, I know my job has been all week to pay attention to what Jamaal does," Davis said via ESPN. "I've been doing good film study, watching him and what he does so if unfortunately he went down I would be able to step in and help out."
Davis has carried the ball 23 times for 82 yards thus far this season and reached the end zone twice.
The Dolphins will be missing a running back of their own as Knowshon Moreno dislocated his elbow on his only carry last week and could be out four weeks or even more.
"It hurts because No. 1, he's a productive player and has proven that," Miami offensive coordinator Bill Lazor told ESPN. "No. 2, anyone who watches the game can see the emotion Knowshon plays with."
Moreno has 25 carries for a team-best 138 yards this season with one score.
Both quarterbacks will have something to prove as Alex Smith looks to try to live up to that huge contract Kansas City gave him and Tannehill wants to prove to Miami he is the quarterback of the future.
Smith is 45-for-77 (58.4%) for 457 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions thus far this season while Tannehill is 49-for-81 (60.5%) for 419 yards with three touchdowns and two picks.
The Chiefs look for their first win of the season while the Dolphins look to bounce back from a tough loss when these teams take the field at Sun Life Stadium this afternoon in Miami.
