Health Update On Roman Reigns And Possible Return

As noted, TNA is looking for a new home for Impact Wrestling as Spike TV will be dropping it from its schedule at the end of 2014 as it looks to move on from the pro wrestling business.

TNA Superstar Bobby Lashley recently spoke with The Sports Courier about TNA and Bellator MMA. While he has a busy schedule, Lashley said he is doing well aside from some soreness.

"I feel great," Lashley said. "Well actually my body is a little broken up right now, but for the most part I'm healthy man and I feel good."

Lashley also touched on his latest Bellator win and match against Bobby Roode at No Surrender. Lashley discussed his match with Roode -- which was filmed prior to his latest Bellator fight -- that saw him take a Roode Bomb on the floor.

"I told them if I'm going to do both, I'm gonna give 100 percent to each one of them," Lashley said. "So even though I had a fight coming up in Bellator, I knew that match with Bobby Roode was important so I wanted to give it all. So taking that bump was just part of the game."

Lashley also talked about being able to seamlessly transition between MMA and TNA and the right way to go about participating in both realms.

"I always thought that in order to do both you have to be a pro wrestler first," he said. "Because a pro wrestling fan doesn't embrace everyone. So you actually have to be in pro wrestling first. Pro wrestling going to MMA that can happen. MMA going to pro wrestling that's gonna be a hard task to accomplish.

Lashley also noted that his next Bellator MMA fight will take place on Oct. 24.
