Former WWE Superstar CM Punk surfaced at a Living Colour concert this weekend and pictures of him with the band were recently shared on the internet.

Punk, who walked out on the WWE back in January and has seemingly retired from professional wrestling, attended a Living Colour concert and the band -- which performs the "Cult of Personality" theme song Punk used in the WWE -- posted the pictures on its official Instagram account:

This is the second concert in Chicago in which Punk has surfaced recently as the "Best in the World" also appeared at Riot Fest earlier this month and came out on stage to perform with The Bouncing Souls.

Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, walked out on the WWE back in January and has recently said he is "never ever' returning to the squared circle. Punk left due to frustrations and being burned out from the company's rigorous travel schedule.

Punk has made sporadic appearances outside the wrestling realm recently, including surfacing at his hometown Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs games, appearing at San Diego Comic Con on behalf of Nerdist and being a special part of the AP Music Awards.

When he was at Comic Con with Nerdist, Punk tweeted that he was having the most fun he's had in a really long time by making the appearances for them.

Punk married WWE Diva AJ Lee in June, but it appears as though he isn't coming back to the company because things were described as "worse than ever" between the two sides when his contract officially expired in July.

For what it's worth, the WWE is not punishing Lee for her husband's transgressions as she was booked to win the Divas Championship for a third time Sunday night at Night of Champions at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The relationship between Punk and the WWE is definitely tumultuous as Punk's lawyers recently sent the company a 22-page letter regarding royalties for using his likeness in the WWE 2K15 video game which is slated to be released next month on some consoles and in November on others.

While Punk has been gone for most of 2014, he appears to be having a good time and enjoying the spare time that he wasn't afforded when working the grueling WWE schedule.
