The best game of the Week 5 slate of college football games comes on Thursday night as Brett Hundley and the No. 11 UCLA Bruins travel to play the No. 15 Arizona State Sun Devils.
Arizona State has already announced that starting quarterback Taylor Kelly will not be available for Thursday’s game, but past that the Sun devils have been mum on the subject. Kelly isn't the only quarterback who is is battling injury as Heisman Trophy hopeful Hundley is also battling the injury bug.
UCLA coach Jim Mora released a statement concerning Hundley and said that the doctors will make the decision on his playing status.
"All of our players who are out, what we try to do is make the best decisions for them based upon the knowledge we have," he said. "We depend on our doctors to get us good information, and we got the best doctors in the nation in my opinion. If they clear him, and they say he can play, just like everyone else, then we'll play him.”
Arizona State topped UCLA in 2013, but the Bruins lead the all-time series 18-11-1.
