Today at 1:00 p.m. ET the Indianapolis Colts (1-2) will look to even their record when they take on an AFC South foe, the Tennessee Titans (1-2) at Lucas Oil Stadium on CBS. After two tough losses to begin the year Colts quarterback Andrew Luck exploded on the Jacksonville Jaguars for 370 yards and four touchdowns. Indianapolis won the game 44-17, and they're hoping to carry that momentum into this week.
"It makes everything feel better," Luck said of preparing for the next game after a victory. "It's good to have a win, but you realize it's just one and we've got to get our home record back on track now."
Part of the Colts' success has been a subtle shift to Ahmad Bradshaw being the lead back. Although the Colts traded a first round pick in 2013 for Trent Richardson, he's been a disappointment. Richardson gave way to Donald Brown as 2013 wound down, and this year Bradshaw's ability to run and catch have helped him supplant T-Rich.
Richardson does have more carries than Bradshaw on the season, but the latter has 114 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Titans are racked with injuries to key players. Quarterback Jake Locker's wrist was reportedly so sore that he could barely grip the football, according to head coach Ken Whisenhunt, and he's in danger of missing this week. Tight end Delanie Walker could also miss this week, and he has been Tennessee's leading receiver.
