Just days after there appeared to be a rift between Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and head coach Joe Philbin, it appears everything is back to normal with the team.
Tannehill was upset earlier this week when Philbin didn't commit to him being the starter for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Oakland Raiders in London. If Tannehill was bothered on Friday, he didn't let it show.
"It's done," Tannehill said after Friday's practice, according to ESPN. "It's something we faced during the week, and it's done. Now we're just getting ready to play. I'm excited to be here in London."
Philbin didn't back his struggling quarterback earlier this week as he was noncommittal about Tannehill getting the start in London, but the third-year quarterback insists that everything is fine and the two sorted it all out.
"We talked, and we're good," Tannehill said. "We're on the same page. Like I said, we're getting ready for this game."
Tannehill, 26, is just 70-for-125 passing, which puts him on pace for a career-low 56.5 percent. He's thrown for 624 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Dolphins (1-2) surprised a lot of people with a 33-20 victory over the New England Patriots at home in Week 1, but they've dropped their two most recent games against the Bills in Buffalo and Kansas City Chiefs at home.
The Dolphins could take advantage of the struggling Oakland Raiders (0-3) who are searching for their first victory of 2014 after losses to the New York Jets, Houston Texans and Patriots.
Tannehill believes a trip overseas could be just what the team needs to turn things around.
"We know what the situation is," Tannehill said. "We know we have to play well. We're looking forward to getting back on the right page, back on the right foot."
The Dolphins and Raiders kick off at Wembley Stadium in London at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
