CM Punk News: Stephanie McMahon Calls 'Best in the World' As A Quitter On Monday Night RAW [VIDEO]

With Monday's episode of RAW emanating from former WWE Superstar CM Punk's hometown of Chicago, there were a lot of "CM Punk" chants throughout the night and Stephanie McMahon used these chants to take a dig at the "Best in the World."

Update On Sting DVD Error

During the opening segment when McMahon and Triple H were cutting a promo, the crowd got on them early with "CM Punk" chants and McMahon then said she wondered why the WWE Universe always chants for quitters.

McMahon also made references to giving up, not sticking it out and quitting your job when it gets hard. As previously reported, Punk walked out on the WWE in January due to his growing frustration of the way his character was being used and due to being burned out from the company's rigorous traveling schedule.

McMahon's dig at Punk comes off the heels of her appearance on WGN Morning News earlier on Monday where she appeared to promote RAW and WWE's partnership with Susan G. Komen, and she said to "never say never" when asked if Punk would come back.

Punk, who is married to WWE Diva AJ Lee in real life, didn't shy away from saying never at the AP Music Awards when he was asked if he'd return to the squared circle and he said he "never ever" would return.

Punk has been plenty busy since walking out on the WWE, appearing at various Chicago sporting events, working at Comic Con San Diego for Nerdist, making an appearance at the AP Music Awards and popping up in other places.

While the WWE hasn't punished Lee, the current WWE Divas Champion, for her husband's transgressions, it has been said that after Punk's contract officially expired in July things were worse than ever between the two sides.

Punk recently had his lawyers send a 22-page letter to the WWE over the use of his likeness in the WWE 2K15 video game.
