CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutski had this to offer ahead of today's European encounter (via UEFA): "Of course, our opponents are supremely talented and it is a difficult situation for us. Last year we lost a few games against Bayern and Manchester City, which hit us hard. And unfortunately, we have continued our poor run of form away from home. It's not nice to recognize that there are teams who are just far more talented and at a different level."
"Our task is to ensure that the team plays to its absolute maximum capacity," he added. "But will this be enough? We will only know when the game gets under way."

Player to Watch: Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben has been instrumental in the club's early season success. In three league appearances, the 30-year-old has one goal and two assists. Yet to make a Champions League start, the Dutchman will look to do more of the same in Moscow this afternoon.
