Hell in a Cell 2014 Rumors: Backstage Plans For John Cena, Dean Ambrose And Seth Rollins At Oct. 26 Event [VIDEO]

It has previously been reported that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will not be at the WWE's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and plans for other main Superstars appear to be in the works in the absence of the champion.

Lesnar, who is on a limited-appearances contract, is not slated to be in attendance for Hell in a Cell on Oct. 26 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas leading to questions about what John Cena, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will be doing at the event since they've all been involved in the main storylines lately.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the current plans call for the WWE to have either Cena or Ambrose face Rollins in a cell match at the event.

According to the report, the plans are expected to see Cena and Ambrose go one-on-one on an upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW where the winner will get to face Rollins in the Hell in a Cell structure on Oct. 26.

The Cena vs. Ambrose match may not occur until a week or two before the event itself, so the card could remain empty for quite some time.

As for the loser of the bout between Cena and Ambrose, they are reportedly slated to either face Randy Orton at the event or be the "keeper of the key" to the padlock that will lock the other two combatants inside the structure.

The card has remained very much up in the air as the only other rumored match so far has been Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella. There was some crazy speculation that the Bella twins may square off in a Hell in a Cell match themselves, but that seems farfetched.

There have also been reports that AJ Lee and Paige's feud over the Divas Championship will carry over to the event as well.

Lesnar's absence has certainly put the card for Hell in a Cell on Oct. 26 in Dallas up in the air, but it appears to be shaping up.
