Two clubs in the Eastern Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire. The first-division clash scheduled for 8 p.m. ET will be held at PPL Park in Philadelphia and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN2.
Chicago Fire head coach Frank Yallop had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via MLS's official website): "It's been tough all year. We've tied 16 out of 29 games and you've got to turn some of those ties into wins and we haven't. So, we're not good enough. I guess we have something to slightly build on that we don't lose a ton of games, but we lost [points] which is obviously a very disappointing result at this time of the season. But we've got to pick ourselves up. We've got play on Thursday, so we've got to get ready for that one."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: With an injury to Sebastien Le Toux, the Union must turn to Cristian Maidana for an attacking option. The 27-year-old has two goals, six assists and an average of 2.3 key passes per match.
