JETS vs PATRIOTS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Thursday Night Football Live Coverage from New Engand INJURY REPORT

Tonight at 8:25 p.m. ET from Gillette Stadium in New England, the Patriots (4-2) will host the New York Jets (1-5) in a matchup of heated AFC East rivals on Thursday Night Football. Watch the game on CBS or NFL Network, or live stream it by clicking this link. Jets fans can hear the radio broadcast on 98.7 ESPN New York, while Patriots fans may do likewise on 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Despite five consecutive losses, and facing a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Tom Brady with short preparation, Jets head coach Rex Ryan is insisting his team hasn't given up on the season. "My message is pretty simple: Hey, we might be counted out, (but) we're not dead," he said. "We are going to fight our tails off."

In this must-win scenario, Ryan is also sticking with beleaguered second-year quarterback Geno Smith under center. "I think Geno is the best way to go right now," Ryan said. "That's why I'm comfortable saying he will be our starter."

Smith has thrown seven interceptions against six touchdowns in 2014, and thrown for more than 300 yards just once. Backup Michael Vick was inserted into a game in Week 5, when the Jets were shut out by San Diego 31-0, but he failed to impress.

The Patriots are having no such quarterback issues. Tom Brady has silenced critics claiming his time as an eite passer were over by throwing for 653 yards and six touchdowns in the past two games, both dominant New England victories.

"He's a winner, man," receiver Brandon LaFell said of Brady. "That guy comes out every week and puts us in a situation to win games."

New England will be without some key contributors though; running back Stevan Ridley and linebacker Jerod Mayo were both lost for the rest of the season last week after suffering knee injuries.
