Sevilla defender Nico Pareja had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via Inside Spanish Football): "To win against Elche, we face a difficult rival at their home. The first thing to do is do things well to be able to beat Elche. Defensively, we'll try to be strong because we have a lot of quality players in the midfield and upfront who can destabilize the game."
When asked about the possibilities of being called up for the Argentina national team, he added: "The desire is always there. Wearing the Argentina jersey, for me, is the greatest pride a footballer can have, but to have that opportunity one has to do very well at his club. At the moment my head is at Sevilla."
