It appears as though John Cena may go over Randy Orton Sunday night at Hell in a Cell in Dallas to set up a future match with Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble in January.

It was reported last week that Lesnar may not appear on WWE television again until the Dec. 8 edition of Monday Night RAW, which is rumored to also be the return of the Slammy Awards for the WWE.
Lesnar is slated to return to the company on Dec. 8 and then will likely take on Cena at the Royal Rumble, which will be the first pay-per-view of 2015.

It was announced on RAW Monday night that the Cena vs. Orton Hell in a Cell match on Sunday will be to determine the next No. 1 contender for Lesnar's title.
With that being known along with the speculation that Cena vs. Lesnar will happen in January, there is a belief that Cena will go over Orton Sunday night and hold onto his position as No. 1 contender until the Royal Rumble.
If the reports of Lesnar not returning until the Dec. 8 RAW and not wrestling until January's Royal Rumble are true, then there will not only not be a title match at Hell in a Cell on Sunday but at November's Survivor Series and December's TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs as well.
Regarding Orton, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that he has a special way of turning down the creative team when it has ideas for him that he doesn't like. When Orton doesn't like an idea, he tells the creative team to ask Triple H which is usually a code word for no.
While Lesnar likely won't return to television until January, it appears Chris Jericho's date for a return to T.V. is unknown, though he will be on the WWE's November tour through Europe as previously reported.
According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Jericho is advertised for the episode of SmackDown that will be taped on Nov. 11 in Liverpool, but he'll likely appear in a dark match since he isn't involved in any WWE storylines since he wrapped up his regular schedule with the company in September.
Jericho was scheduled for the European tour to help the WWE with its roster depth issues due to injuries and not a lot of mainstream talent emerging as of late.
Lesnar may be absent until December while it's unknown when Jericho will return to television.
