The Sun Belt Conference provides this week's edition of Tuesday night football as the Arkansas State Red Wolves travel to play the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns.
Arkansas State comes into this one a three point favorite despite being on the road and for good reason. The Red Wolves have won three straight games against Utah State, UL Monroe and Georgia State after dropping two in a row to Tennessee and Miami. The Red Wolves are No. 29 in the nation in rushing offense and average 219 yards per contest.
Louisiana-Lafayette has had some better luck as they have gotten into their conference schedule as they topped Georgia State and Texas State in back-to-back weeks after dropping three straight to Louisiana Tech, then-No.14 Ole Miss and Boise State.
These two teams, as well as Georgia Southern and South Alabama, are seen as the front runners in the Sun Belt so this Tuesday night tilt could put the winner in the driver seat for the rest of the season.
Louisiana-Lafayette leads the all-tim series against Arkansas State 22-18-1 and the Ragin' Cajuns have won five of the last eight games against the Red Wolves. Louisiana-Lafayette took the 2013 matchup by the score of 23-7.
