CM Punk Return WWE: Seth Rollins Discusses 'Best in the World's' Departure, Merchandise Possibly Kept Out Of WWE 2K15 [VIDEO]

CM Punk has been gone from the WWE since January and current WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently discussed the "Best in the World's" departure while it seems like his merchandise may have been kept out of the WWE 2K15 video game.

Rollins spoke to Digital Spy and was asked about whether he thought Punk would be back to the WWE by WrestleMania 31 in March or if he'll ever return at all.

"Before WrestleMania 31 highly, highly unlikely," Rollins told the site. "Down the road? Part of me was 100 percent sure he'd be back at some point but the longer he's away, the more it makes me wonder that maybe he's gone. He spent a good portion of his life dedicated to this business, it's good for him to maybe get away. He's done all there really is to do. So I hope that he's happy and I hope that he's doing well for himself and enjoying his life away from wrestling. You know, that's what we all work for is to be able to retire early and enjoy our lives, so I hope that's the case for him."

Regarding Punk, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that a YouTube user received an advance copy of WWE 2K15 and noted during the WWE Universe mode when he was playing a Punk vs. Randy Orton match, Punk's entrance includes him wearing a blank gray hoodie.

Punk's entrance is reportedly the same as it was in WWE 2K14, except he wears a blank hoodie instead of the one with the CM Punk logo on it. This has led to the belief that the 22-page letter Punk's lawyers sent the WWE over royalties may have something to do with the company censoring its own merchandise in the game.

Punk's merchandise was pulled from the WWE website a few weeks ago in light of the letter his lawyers sent the company and things are said to still be really bad between the two sides.

Punk walked out on the WWE in January due to frustration with the way he was being used in the company and also due to being burned out from the travel schedule.

Punk's contract didn't expire until July, but he hasn't appeared in a WWE ring since the Royal Rumble in January and recently told a reporter at the AP Music Awards that he was "never ever" returning to the squared circle.
