Tonight at 8:07 p.m. ET the Kansas City Royals will return to Kauffman Stadium for Game 6 of the World Series with their backs against the wall after back-to-back losses in San Francisco put them on the brink of elimination. Watch the matchup on Fox or live stream it free by clicking this link. Royals fans can hear the radio broadcast on KCSP 610, while Giants fans may do likewise on 680 KNBR. Jake Peavy will pitch for the Giants against Yordano Ventura of the Royals.

The Royals are expressing no worries about entrusting their postseason lives to the rookie Ventura, who has proven his mental toughness after a difficult debut in the Wildcard game.

"We have a lot of confidence in Ventura. We have confidence that we will win every time he takes the mound," Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer said. "We know we can do it. We're a confident group. But we can't do anything without winning Game 6. We're excited to get back home, where we feed off the fans and that energy."

Royals manager Ned Yost also cited the home crowd as a source of confidence. "Trust me, if we're in this position, I would much rather be here than there with our fans. I think home-field advantage is huge," Yost said.

In Game 2 of this World Series Ventura threw 5.1 innings of two-run ball, limiting the damage on the scoreboard despite giving up eight hits. "His confidence is just staggering," Yost said. "You walk in that clubhouse, and he looks you square in the eye with that glint that says: 'I'm ready for this."

Opposing him will be Peavy, searching for his first ever World Series win. If he can get it, he'll clinch the title for the Giants. "I can't imagine anything being any sweeter than that," Peavy said. "This is the start that you play your whole career wanting."
