Adrien Broner Next Fight: Marcos Maidana Wants Manny Pacquiao, 'Problem,' Amir Khan Not 'Enticing' [VIDEO]

Adrien "The Problem" Broner has called out several name fighters in recent weeks, with his No. 1 priority being Marcos "El Chino" Maidana. In December 2013 Maidana upset Broner and used the victory to get two cracks at pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Maidana lost both fights, but still has his sights set high for his next opponent.

"I have no opponent in mind but [Manny] Pacquiao is possible," Maidana said of future plans. "I do not think any other fighter can be better than Pacquiao at this time."

Maidana then addressed the possibility of a Broner rematch; Maidana handed Broner the first and only loss of his career, and knocked him down twice.

"There is talk of a rematch with Broner, but I wouldn't really want that. I'll wait to see if I can get the fight with Pacquiao but we'll wait. I'd like Pacquiao. [Broner and Khan] do not entice me as much, but it's necessary to take a look at every option," Maidana said.

A fight with Pacquiao could be tricky, and is a long way from happening. First, Pacquiao must defeat Chris Algieri on November 22 in Macau, China. Algieri has never fought on pay-per-view before, and has just one title fight under his belt. He also is coming up from 140 pounds to face Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title.

Algieri has a significant height and reach advantage over Pacquiao though, as well as a good jab. Even if Pacquiao does get past Algieri, which he is favored to do, his trainer Freddie Roach has expressed interest in moving down in weight.

"I just think it's much better for Manny to fight at 140. He's much more productive at that weight. It's much more natural for him to fight at that weight," Roach was quoted in Rappler. Roach also identified Danny "Swift" Garcia as a possible opponent.
