The WWE wrote Randy Orton out of its storylines on Monday Night RAW with an injury angle after The Authority attacked him and it appears as though the company has continued to remove him from future dates.

It has been rumored that Orton will not be at the Survivor Series event despite it taking place in his hometown of St. Louis at the Scottrade Center on Nov. 23.
The WWE had Seth Rollins and Kane attack Orton as a way to get him out of storylines so he can begin filming the WWE Studios movie The Condemned 2 next week.

The WWE's official website has continued to sell the attack by saying Orton has sustained a concussion at the hands of The Authority and the site says it will keep the WWE Universe updated on his condition.
The WWE also posted a post-RAW video of Orton being stretchered out following the beat down:
It is unknown if Orton will now return as a babyface when he eventually does come back, however it would appear as though the WWE has pulled the trigger on a face turn since The Authority took him out.
With The Condemned 2 being a WWE Studios movie and Survivor Series taking place in his hometown of St. Louis, the WWE could conceivably adjust the schedule so that Orton can make an appearance on Team Cena as the team takes on Team Authority.
It was revealed by Vince McMahon on RAW that if Team Authority loses the five-on-five match, The Authority will lose its power in the WWE. It would make sense for Orton to want to be a part of the team that could conceivably take The Authority out of power.
The full teams haven't been established for the match yet, but thus far Team Cena is comprised of John Cena and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler while Seth Rollins will captain Team Authority and Kane will also be on the squad.
Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Orton has also been pulled from the Dec. 26 live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City in a move that likely has nothing to do with The Condemned 2 filming.
Orton was scheduled to battle The Big Show that night, but Show is now booked to face Mark Henry. This could have to do with Orton becoming a babyface and the WWE not wanting to have a good guy vs. good guy bout between Orton and Big Show.
It remains to be seen if he'll work Survivor Series, but for now it appears as though Orton will not be surfacing on WWE television in the near-future.
