Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: Front Office 'Soured' on Nick Foles Prior to Injury; Chip Kelly Drafting Quarterback in 2015? [VIDEO]

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is out for a minimum of eight weeks, but according to reports, the front office could be looking to bring a new signal caller into the City of Brotherly Love.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was "souring" on Nick Foles before his injury and the idea of brining in a new quarterback in 2015 had come up in conversation.

Mark Sanchez Set to Start for Eagles; What to Expect From 'The Sanchize'

"I think Howie is looking at quarterbacks,'' one of the sources told NJ Advance Media. "He's kind of soured on Foles, and I don't think he's alone. The organization isn't sold that he's the guy going forward.’'

"Let's just say the way things were going, he wasn't going to get a contract extension that's for sure,'' another person who had knowledge of the Eagles' evaluation told NJ Advance Media before Foles' injury. "Now, if he has a big second half, that could change.’'

Foles tossed 27 touchdown passes and just two interceptions in his 10 starts in 2013. He also completed 64 percent of his passes and had a league-high quarterback rating of 119.2. In 2014, however, Foles has regressed to a mere 13 touchdown passes, 10 interceptions and has a quarterback rating of 81.9.

Should You Pick Up Adrian Peterson After Reaching Plea Deal?

Mark Sanchez is the Eagles starting quarterback while Foles recovers from a broken collarbone and he could very well be the Eagles starting quarterback in 2015. The Eagles will likely draft a guy that Chip Kelly has hand picked and he will be inserted as the starter before long in 2015.
