The WWE taped Monday Night RAW in Liverpool, England this week which means that it airs on tape delay in the United States. This episode airs 13 nights before the Survivor Series.
In the main event, John Cena defeated Ryback via DQ after Kane interfered. Kane and Ryback had words and The Authority ended up attacking each other. In the end, the rest of Team Cena poured out of the locker room after The Authority started to beat down Cena. Ryback then cleared the ring of The Authority and left on his own as the show ended.
The show opened with Cena coming out and saying that along with Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger has also joined Team Cena for Survivor Series on Nov. 23 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
Cena then called Ryback out to the ring to talk about their main event match. The Authority interrupted along with Mark Henry, which hinted that he will be on Team Authority at Survivor Series. Both teams tried to recruit Ryback, and he ended up attacking Cena to end the segment.
Ryback was also involved in a backstage segment with Corporate Kane as Kane said he had Ryback's back, but Ryback said he can take care of himself.
Swagger battled Seth Rollins in RAW's opening match, which saw "Mr. Money in the Bank" pick up the victory with the Curb Stomp. Rollins then hit a second Curb Stomp after the match.
In Divas action, Paige defeated Alicia Fox.
Regarding the Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt feud, Ambrose said he wasn't afraid of demons and will drag Wyatt to hell at Survivor Series in a promo that aired on the big screen.
There was a United States Championship match as Rusev defeated Sheamus with help from The Authority to retain the title. Rusev then confirmed he will join The Authority's team at the Survivor Series.
In other Survivor Series-related action, Dolph Ziggler defeated Mark Henry via DQ after Henry hit him with a steel chair. Cena was banned from ringside during the match. Henry was revealed as part of Team Authority, while Big Show made the save and joined Team Cena.
Henry later confirmed backstage that Ryback also joined Team Authority while Sheamus was revealed as part of Team Cena.
In other action, The Miz and Damien Sandow def. Los Matadores while AJ Lee topped Nikki Bella and Bella then attacked her after the match.
Elsewhere, Tyson Kidd defeated Adam Rose after The Bunny caused a distraction. Erick Rowan appeared at ringside during the match.
This episode aired just 13 days before Survivor Series and continued to build toward the event.
