Tottenham's streak of not being able to win in Stamford Bridge since 1990 continues as of today, as they held Chelsea 2-2 in the third last game of the season.
Brazilian youngster Oscar opened the score in the 10th minute, after Garcy Cahill flicked in a Juan Mata corner into Danger.
Both sides missed many chances as the game went on, until Emmanuel Adebayor equalized with a stunning goal in the 26th minute, as he took the ball 20 meters unmarked and put it away in the Petre Cech's top left corner, unstoppable effort.
The Spurs fans made their presence known, as their chants and songs were heard loudly across Stamford Bridge, but were silenced just before half time in the 39th minute by another young Brazilian, this time Ramires, as Fernando Torres' solo effort on the right put Ramires through to goal and finished easily.
The game went into half time with Chelsea 2-1 up on the scoreboard, with Tottenham's best player Gareth Bale, not showing up to play as well as is expected as him, and instead Togo international Adebayor putting the team on his shoulders.
The half started with both sides battling in the midfield, Chelsea wasted many counter attacks and opportunities, and with 10 minutes to go in the 80th minute, Gylfi Sigurdsson, put in a ball from the left after a good solo play by the African, Adebayor.
Chelsea now miss their chance of securing themselves in next years Champions League, and Tottenham keep their chances alive of finishing in the top four.
Chelsea sit in third place in the table, while Tottenham sit fifth behind Arsenal.
