Marshawn Lynch Contract Status: Seahawks Running Back Uncertain Of Where He'll Play In 2015 [VIDEO]

There has been a lot of speculation as to where Marshawn Lynch will play in 2015, but the Seattle Seahawks running back said even he isn't sure what the future holds beyond this season.

Lynch, who will likely face a six-figure fine from the NFL for not speaking to the media again on Sunday despite the league's warnings, told NFL.com over the phone that he wasn't sure what to expect for 2015.

"Do I think I'll be gone after this season? I don't know, man," Lynch told the site. "The Seahawks, their front office gets in the media; they talk a lot. I don't talk too much. I just play the game. If they have something going on, I don't know about it."

Lynch's comments came in the wake of the Seahawks' (6-4) loss to the Kanas City Chiefs by a 24-20 margin at Arrowhead Stadium that snapped a three-game winning streak for Seattle.

His statement also came in the midst of speculation that he will not be brought back to the Seahawks in 2015 amid rumors of dissention in the locker room.

Lynch was asked about friction between himself and head coach Pete Carroll after an NFL Network report said that the two sides don't talk.

"Pete's my head coach," said Lynch, who remained out on the bench during halftime and waited for the third quarter to start rather than going inside with his teammates. "Well, I mean, you know, he's really not in my position meetings. ... It ain't like we get to chop it up like that."

Lynch was reportedly upset and refused to board the team bus with the rest of his teammates when word broke that the Seahawks traded his friend Percy Harvin to the New York Jets last month, but the running back wouldn't elaborate on that when asked if he was upset.

"I'm upset when I don't get a first down on fourth-and-inches. ... You know, it is what it is. I was surprised, I guess you could say," he said.

Lynch, 28, rushed for 124 yards on 24 carries against the Chiefs (7-3) and has rushed 177 times this season for 813 yards while reaching the end zone nine times.

While the Seahawks have reportedly had their problems, Lynch believes they can win the Super Bowl for the second straight year.

"Is this a championship team? Yeah, yeah, we've got the heart of a champion," he said. "...I always look at the best of our team. So ... hell yeah. I would have to be a fool to say no."
