Pittsburgh Steelers News: LeGarrette Blount Ditches Monday Night Football Game Early, Unhappy With Role [VIDEO]

The Pittsburgh Steelers staged a comeback win over the Titans Monday night in Tennessee, but not everyone in the Steelers' locker room was ready to celebrate. LeGarrette Blount left the field before the end of the game after receiving only a few snaps - and no carries. In contrast, Le'Veon Bell carried the ball 33 times for 204 yards and a touchdown and added two catches for 18 yards.

Blount signed a two-year deal with the Steelers in the offseason, but according to ESPN, he is not thrilled about his role on the team. Blount expected to be more involved in the offense this season. He is currently second on the team with 266 rushing yards on 65 carries this season, but Bell has been so productive that Blount has played an increasingly smaller role as the season has worn on.

According to media reports, Pittsburgh assistant Joey Porter saw Blount leaving the locker room early and called him back in several times. Blount eventually left anyway before his Steelers teammates had even given their postgame interviews.

Blount's future with the team is uncertain today after his behavior in last night's game. No official announcement has been made by the team regarding Blount, but more information is sure to become available throughout the week.

Pittsburgh is the fourth team that Blount has played for during his five-year NFL career. He previously spent time with the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tennessee Titans. Many people still remember him as the Oregon Ducks player that threw a punch at an opponent after a loss to Boise State. The incident caused Blount to miss most of his senior season at Oregon and was believed to be a contributing factor to him going undrafted.

Blount was arrested earlier this season. You can see video of the reaction to his arrest below.
