What They're Saying

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Stefan Ishizaki (via MLS's official website): "I think we know what to expect, and we know what we need to do: Work as hard as we did against [Real] Salt Lake and just try to make it really tough for them to play, try to spread their team, keep width on the field, stretch their team and try to keep possession because they're not really good when they have to defend a whole lot. They're better on attack."

Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid: "Being able to defend well is an important part of winning a championship. I know all through the season people have been saying: 'Well, do they have a good enough defense to win?' And I think we have proven over the past three or four weeks that we can play good enough defense for sure."
