River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo (via Los Andes): "We should play a grand game against an arch rival, which is a possibility to reach a final. We imagine having control of the game, but knowing that Boca is a team that likes to utilize space."
Boca Juniors manager Rodolfo Arruabarrena (via El Intran): "We're going to River's pitch to play our game. [Federico] Carrizo gives me more one-on-one situations, more pace down the wings. In contrast, [Jose] Fuenzalida goes out wide with central players. That's why we've made the change these last few days."
