Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is clearly fed up with the team's losing this season, as evidenced by some highly publicized outbursts in practice against teammates he deemed "soft."

"I was just being myself," Bryant said. "I don't know if it helps them, but it obviously raises the intensity level. It was a tough practice for them."

He will also likely be telling his teammates to study how San Antonio attacks them, as he believes they are an ideal role model as far as teams go.

"I'm looking forward to this one," Bryant said. "San Antonio, that's the blueprint of how to play, in terms of how to scheme together, how they move the ball. Everybody understands their purpose and they do it really well."

The defending champions should be well-rested; head coach Gregg Popovich rested almost all of his stars against a hapless New York Knicks team that the reserves easily handled 109-95.

"I haven't been this pleased in a while," coach Gregg Popovich said. "I just saw a lot of guys who haven't played much play the fundamental game; they executed well. Guys that haven't played are going to try hard, that's not that big of a deal, but their execution was really good."

Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are expected to be back in the lineup for tonight's clash.
