Desperate to stave off relegation in 2015, Chivas Guadalajara brought in a pair of young reinforcements with international experience. Per Toluca's official website, Isaac "el Cone" Brizuela is no longer a member of the club and will feature for Chivas in the 2015 Clausura tournament.

Now 24, Brizuela debuted with Toluca in 2009 under the tutelage of Jose Manuel de la Torre—the same de la Torre now in charge of Guadalajara.
Bringing back one of their own, the club also announced the return of Erick "Cubo" Torres. The 21-year-old, on loan to the now-defunct Chivas USA, finished with 22 goals in 44 appearances over the 2013 and 2014 seasons. According to the club's official Twitter, only Torres' short-term future has been decided, slated to play in Jalisco for the next six months.

His long-term future is yet to be decided.
Per Ives Galarcep (via Goal), however, that future will remain in MLS. Looking to finalize a full transfer, the league was reportedly hesitant to meet the $7.5 million asking price for the Mexican international. The Houston Dynamo were favorites to land to his services and willing to meet Guadalajara's full demands, but Torres returning to Liga MX for six months in exchange for the lowering of the purchase option is said to be part of any deal.
Wednesday's announcement lends authenticity to those claims.
Despite the complexity of Torres' "loan" to Jalisco, Chivas—at least in the short-term—have two reinforcements impactful enough to return the club to relevancy in 2015.
