After flummoxing Browns rookie Johnny Manziel into a zero-point effort last week Bengals coach Marvin Lewis is in for a tougher test with Peyton Manning staring across from his defense.

"It's going to be a big shift, safe to say," Lewis said of the upgrade in competition. "It's a challenge. He gets everyone's attention in this building right away. The player he is, how he carries himself, how he runs things on the field -- it's going to be a great challenge for us. It's what it's supposed to be in December, just like this."

While Manning is one of the game's most prolific passers of all-time, lately C.J. Anderson has been the dominant part of Denver's offense. That's bad news for Cincy, who boasts the 30th-ranked rushing defense in the NFL. On the flip side, Bengals rusher Jeremy Hill may have a rough go against Denver's No. 2 rushing defense.

Hill fared fine against another highly-ranked rush defense two weeks ago, putting up 168 yards and three touchdowns on the ground vs. the Buffalo Bills. In his last two outings the Bengals have leaned on Hill, handing him the rock 50 times.
