Desperate to return to relevancy in Serie A, Inter Milan turn to London for reinforcements. According to Italian outfit Corriere dello Sport (via Pro Soccer Talk), Arsenal's Lukas Podolski has agreed to personal terms with Milan. The agreement is for a six-month loan with an option to buy.

Per the report, the option is said to be in the neighborhood of $7 million and could be extended to around $10 million.
Podolski is out of favor with manager Arsene Wenger. Despite boasting 13 appearances across all competitions, the 29-year-old has just two starts and a total of 228 minutes of play. A brace against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League remains his only highlight of the season.

Wenger remains adamant, however, and insists Podolski is part of his plans in North London.
"He is frustrated and I understand that of course," the Frenchman said. "But he's important and he showed that. He will be important in the coming months. It took him a while to get back to a good physical level after the World Cup and now he's nearly there."
"He was never close to leaving," Wenger added. "He has 115 caps for Germany. That is not a coincidence. That shows you the quality. I think he is a guy you want to have the ball in the box. His shot is fantastic, his accuracy is great and he has a very short back-lift. I know when he comes on he can score."
Unfortunately for Podolski, those opportunities to score have been few and far between. A move to Inter would suffice in rectifying a lack of minutes.
